Katja Hose is an associate professor at the department of Computer Science at Aalborg University (AAU). Before joining Aalborg University, she was a post-doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany, and obtained her doctoral degree in Computer Science from Ilmenau University of Technology. Her research interests include Linked Open Data, knowledge representation, query processing and optimization in distributed systems, rank-aware query operators, and energy data management.
Gabriela Montoya is an assistant professor at the department of Computer Science at Aalborg University. Before joining Aalborg University, she was part of the Distributed Data Management team (GDD), at the Laboratory of Informatics of Nantes Atlantique (LINA) in France. She got her doctoral degree in Computer Science from the University of Nantes. She works on query processing, with focus on source selection and query decomposition.
Kim Ahlstrøm‘s work is centered around the Semantic Web. He has worked in areas ranging from RDF data integration and conversion to Business Intelligence Query performance. In his work he has both used real datasets such as Danish agricultural/government data and synthetic in the form of the TPC-H Benchmark dataset.
Jacobo Rouces has worked in knowledge integration in the Semantic Web, from query processing to computational linguistics. He is finishing is PhD in Aalborg University, during which he has developed FrameBase, a multi-layered schema to integrate knowledge from heterogeneous sources.
Luis Galárraga is a post-doctoral researcher at the department of Computer Science of Aalborg University. Before he was part of the DBWeb team of Télécom ParisTech in France, where he got his PhD degree. He has worked in knowledge management, data mining in RDF knowledge bases, and RDF query processing. Currently he is working in provenance-aware OLAP query processing on RDF cubes.
Vinay Setty is an Assistant Professor at the department of Computer Science at Aalborg University. Prior to that he was a post-doctoral researcher at Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany. Before that Vinay got his PhD from University of Oslo, Norway. His research spans several broad areas including Distributed Publish/Subscriber systems, Web/News mining and Graph processing systems.
Lefteris Zervakis is a research assistant at the department of Computer Science of Aalborg University. His work has focused on the fields of information/data management, Graph database, Retrieval and filtering of RDF and linked data, as well as, on User profile indexing.
Christian Aebeloe is a Ph.D. Fellow at the department of Computer Science of Aalborg University. His work has focused on the fields of SPARQL property paths explanations, efficient query processing and provenance of RDF data.
